In 2018, Rob and Janice Groenheide expanded their Walkabout Farm, to include milking sheep and cheese production at their South Gillies farm, southwest of Thunder Bay.
They currently milk their sheep seasonally and make their cheese with the help of Thunder Oak Cheese Farm.
Their Manchego-style cheese is aged for three months.
Walkabout Farm is the only Ontario cheese producer who makes this style of cheese.
