This raclette is a semi-soft, surface-ripened cheese with added whole green peppercorns. It’s nutty aroma combines nicely with the marked spicy and fruit flavour.
This is the classic cheese for the Swiss dish of "raclette".
It’s name originates from the French word ‘racler’ meaning ‘to scrape’, a reference to scraping the melted cheese from the wheel onto boiled potatoes.
