DESCRIPTION:Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services (MFES) have a responsibility to keep the City’s residents safe from hazards every day.  \n\n\n\nThis February\, you are invited to experience the inside world of firefighting through the lens of Stephen Uhraney\, an award-winning local photographer. Uhraney has been recognized by many publications and was recently named as a finalist in Canadian Firefighter’s inaugural photo contest. \n\n\n\n‘On Duty’ includes 36 of 7\,500 photos Uhraney captured of firefighters from Mississauga’s Fire Station 104. Attendees will receive a rare glimpse into the activities of Mississauga firefighters during critical moments when urgent help is required for individuals or properties in danger. \n\n\n\nPlease enter the FRAM building and use the front entrance. The showroom is adjacent to the main lobby reception. \n\n\n\nLakeview Cheese Galore will be participating at the February 1st opening\, serving broiled raclette cheese.  \n\n\n\nAccessibility note: There are short stairs outside and a couple of steps inside where the show will be. \n\n\n\nThe St. Lawrence building is open to the public Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm; you do not need a ticket for these timings.  \n\n\n\nPhotographer Stephen Uhraney will be at the exhibit on the weekends\, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am until 2 pm.

Pretty\, Master of the cheese at Lakeview Cheese Galore\, will get you to experience four cheese: Piave Vecchio Selezione Oro DOP\, Pecorino Crotonese\, Pecorino Romano Lupa DOP & Smoked Gorgonzola with the wines.   \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe included Milano salumi\, stuffed olives\, crostini with red pepper & artichoke tapenade & olive bruschetta will create other gastronomical memories. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nParticipants must be 19 years of age and older. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nVirtual participants can choose to either purchase one or two bottles of each of the three featured wines. DESCRIPTION:Fun\, entertaining\, delicious and educational. Learn how to put together your own Beer & Cheese pairing for friends\, colleagues or just you and your partner. Holiday season approaches and now is the time to get ready to be the host with the most. \n\n\n\nJoin us in-person in the brewery’s Bier Hall\, or virtually from home. \n\n\n\nIN-PERSON \n\n\n\nYou’ll receive a 10 to 14 ounce pour of each beer and 100g of each cheese. Price for In-person includes a gratuity for your servers. \n\n\n\nFeel free to arrive early to get seated and settled before we begin at 7:30pm. \n\n\n\nVIRTUAL \n\n\n\nFree delivery of the package is going out to Mississauga\, Etobicoke and Oakville on Tuesday\, November 22 between 11am and 5pm or you can pick up orders as of Saturday\, November 19 in the afternoon. \n\n\n\nYou’ll receive two bottles or cans of each beer and 100g of each cheese. \n\n\n\nA link to the Zoom meeting will be sent prior to the event by email.
