Gurth discovered the Guelph-based distillery at an Alzheimer Society of Toronto fundraiser. He supplied and shared his knowledge of the featured cheese with the patrons of the event.
Their whisky were smooth and good!
Participants will sample the following three whisky matched to three Canadian cheese.
- John Sleeman & Sons Traditional Straight Whisky
- John Sleeman & Sons Rye Whisky
- John Sleeman & Sons Sherry Finished Single Malt
- Mountainoak Cheese - Frieisan Gouda
- Great Lakes Goat Dairy - Caramelized Onion Cheddar
- Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese - Handeck
This special tutored tasting takes place in Lakeview Cheese Galore's Squeak-Easy event room, beginning at 7:30 pm and ending by 9 pm. Enter via the front door of the shoppe.
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
Participants must be 19 years and older.
