Delivery Methods
UPDATE: We now offer refrigerated truck delivery to most addresses in Southern Ontario
Currently Lakeview Cheese Galore offers three methods of shipping for orders placed online: refrigerated delivery, curbside pick-up or local delivery.
Refrigerated delivery is available for most of Southern Ontario.
Local delivery is limited to Mississauga, West Etobicoke, and East Oakville. Please see list of eligible postal codes below.
We are working on setting up shipping with carriers to extend our offerings to more areas within Canada. Please check back here for updates or sign up to our newsletter ‘Curd Addicts’ to find out the details when we add this service.
Choosing Your Delivery Method
During checkout you will be able to choose from the available delivery methods.
Important: If you select local delivery and your address is not in our local delivery area you will need to go back a step and choose a different option.
If you feel that your address should be within our local delivery area yet the online store wont let you choose that option please call us and let us know.
Refrigerated Delivery
We can now ship with a distributor that makes weekly deliveries by refrigerated truck to most addresses in Southern Ontario.
Orders are picked up from the shoppe weekly on Thursdays for delivery the following week. Delivery days are based on zones.

Curbside Pick-up
Orders made online can be picked up directly from our store located at: 848 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, L5E 1E1.
Once you arrive please call us at 905-274-7775 to let us know what vehicle you are in and we will bring your order out to you.
We require one day’s notice to prepare orders for in-person pick up. If you need your order sooner please come and visit us directly to purchase most items on the spot.
Local Delivery
Local Delivery takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Delivery time window is between 10am and 5pm.
We cannot book or specify a time within this period.
Important: a responsible person must be home and available to receive your order.
If there is no one to receive your order it will be returned to Lakeview Cheese Galore and it will be the customer’s responsibility to pick up their order in-store. Please call us direct if you need to make alternative arrangements.
Local delivery costs $10+HST ($11.30 total) and requires a minimum order of $50 before shipping and taxes.
Receiving Instructions
As most of our items are perishable you should immediately take your items out of the bag or box and place any perishable items in your fridge.
Important: While in transit our local delivery items are kept cool. The bag or box you receive is not insulated and does not contain any cooling packs.
Changing your Delivery Date
If you need to change your delivery date please call us at least one day before your delivery date to make alternate arrangements.
Due to the perishable nature of our products some items e.g. cheese trays/platters cannot have their delivery dates postponed. A change of delivery date is effectively a cancellation and is subject to our cancellation policy.
Address Accuracy
You, the customer, are responsibly for ensuring that you provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
If there are any errors or missing information please contact us directly as soon as possible to update the information.
Lakeview Cheese Galore will not be responsible if we are unable to deliver or if your order is mis-delivered due to errors with your delivery address.
Delivery Guarantees
We make best efforts to deliver orders however weather, traffic, and vehicle issues may impact deliveries on occasion.
